Fran’s workshops
Fran Macilvey is pleased to offer one-hour or half-day workshops based around themes that recur in her writing. All sessions can be conducted in person or remotely via zoom or other on-line platforms at the discretion of the organiser(s).
As writer with the 2022-23 Neurological Conditions Project, in partnership with NHS Scotland and Midlothian Council HSCP, Fran contributed Three Pieces, her creative response to the lived experiences of those with long-term neurological conditions. She offers workshops and round-table discussions on her creative work for the NCP.
Workshops based around her first three books, Trapped, Happiness Matters and Making Miracles, can be tailored to audiences of any size or complexion.
Suggested themes include
- How to find happiness in daily living
- How to make miracles in the face of unexpected challenges
- Personal empowerment and effective communication
- The personal value of writing our own stories and memoirs
