Fran Macilvey is pleased to offer one-hour or half-day workshops based around themes that recur in her writing. During the time of Covid, all sessions will be conducted remotely via zoom or other on-line platforms at the discretion of the organiser(s).
Through writing her first three books Trapped, Happiness Matters and Making Miracles, Fran has evolved recurring life themes which can be tailored to audiences of any size or complexion.
Fran’s workshops are intended to inspire us to a more direct appreciation of the value of happiness in everyday life. If you have any particular themes you would wish to explore, she is very happy to consider these.
Suggested themes include
- How to find happiness in daily living
- How to make miracles in the face of unexpected challenges
- Personal empowerment and effective communication
- The personal value of writing our own stories and memoirs.

The usual length of a short workshop is one hour + 30 minutes for Q & A. Longer workshops of between two and three hours are also available.
You can contact Fran using the ‘contact’ form on this website, through the ‘Live Literature’ scheme of the Scottish Book Trust, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
